Hello, I'm Dr. Martin S. Gildea. Our office greatly differs from other doctor's (Medical and/or Chiropractic) offices you've visited in the past and this is not by accident. We work very hard at making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive in our office and long after you have left.
We make it a point to get to know you and your family. You are not just a number at Gildea Holistic Health & Wellness - you are a person with genuine concerns about your health and well being. If you are like most of our practice members you expect quality care at an affordable price. I realize that as a health care consumer you can spend your hard earned dollars anywhere! For that reason, we do everything possible to earn your trust and respect as well as those you may tell about us in the future.
If you are the type that likes to sit around the doctors office waiting for an hour or two to see the doctor only to be treated like a nameless face - I'm sorry we are probably not your type of practice. We work diligently to insure that you are seen as quickly as possible. We offer appointments that are convenient to your busy lifestyle and understand that you are not living to get adjusted - you are getting adjusted to go on living.
I live on the Holly Pike with my wife Becky and our two daughters Alexis and Celina are in college. I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and grew up in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa in 1989 with a B. S. in General Science as well as a Doctorate in Chiropractic. I have a post doctoral certification in Scoliosis Management, KTD Certification in Decompression Therapy, as well as Chiropractic Biophysics. Currently I am undergoing further training in the field of functional nutrition and neurology and am a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner. (CFNP) I enjoy reading and have been an avid weight lifter since my mid teens.
You see, I never thought it was very fair that a doctor gets to know everything about his patients when they don't know anything about the doctor. I feel that it is important that you and I work together, as a partnership with your good health and my reputation as the by-product of that relationship. I will never do anything to jeopardize either. Although our office is always up-beat and cheerful, we take your health very seriously. I feel that it is important to keep a positive attitude and a smile even in the face of adversity.
This is my opportunity to share a bit more about myself, health, and Chiropractic. Please do not hesitate to discuss any concerns that you may have with your case at any time.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you and to play a part in the most vital possession you own -- your good health. I wish you all of life's sweet gifts and may God bless....
